I’ve been working on a series of nautical-themed artworks. I painted directly on to skateboard shapes cut out of plywood and really like the way the shape of the works interact with the composition of the images. I’ve incorporated some of my organic patterns into the works, which work especially well in the waves. There are six skateboard shapes in the series and they will all be for sale at the NZ Art show, 19 – 21 June 2015. They are available to purchasefor $490 each.
