Song of the Kingfisher Print

Song of the Kingfisher depicts a beautifully painted native New Zealand Kotare with patterns coming from it’s beak to surround it in a stylish oval. The patterns represent the bird song as well as the distinctive drawing style of artist Joe McMenamin. The Kingfisher is a bird seen commonly around New Zealand. Using its large beak, they are excellent fishers, and dive down into the waters of a pond, lake or stream to grab the fish.
